About

Hello! I’m Lori, owner of and senior editor at Sweet Tea Editorial.

I can help you polish your medical and technical documents, medical and general-knowledge textbooks and other educational tools, fiction and nonfiction manuscripts, and any marketing materials and products.

I have two decades of professional experience as an editor, proofreader, and project manager. I started my career running a newspaper copy desk and later worked in house editing technical documents at a nonprofit research center, managing and polishing manuscripts at a textbook publishing company, and perfecting medical peer review reports for a peer review firm. I also have freelance experience editing articles and opinion pieces for a medical journal; proofreading marketing materials for a nutrition and personal care company; and editing and proofreading fiction and nonfiction book manuscripts.

I’ve spent years honing my editing skills as a full-time employee and freelancer—and now I’m available to focus full time on your project! I will edit just about any topic but specialize in medical documents. 

I received a Bachelor of Science in journalism and have completed several continuing education classes in editing and project management. I am comfortable using AP, APA, AMA, and Chicago styles.
